Hazelpaw sighed as she finished her mouse in a few last bites. What should she do now? She had no idea where her mentor was. Might as well get some herbs then. Crouching down, she slipped through a pile of brambles.
Barely a heartbeat passed when the sun blasted her eyes, causing her to squint abruptly. The grass was lush and soft underneath her pads, and she breathed in the fresh smell of plants and dirt. Mice skittered everywhere, but they weren't her main perspective right now. If she was lucky, she might be able to pluck some echinacea, or pry off a few poppy seeds from any dried poppies she could find.

Breezeheart came trotting up behind her apprentice. "Find anything?" she asked.

Hazelpaw jumped when a familiar voice met her ears. Whipping around, she came face to face with Breezeheart.
"Oh, it's you..." she stammered, with nervousness and relief. "Eh, not yet. I just came here." The apprentice turned back around and drooped her head as she scanned the field for any herbs. "What do we need? Borage?" she asked.

Breezeheart shook her head. "You brought enough," she said, "We need Coltsfoot."

Hazelpaw nodded, blushing slightly in embarrasment. "Okay, then."

Hazelpaw stopped for a moment, pondering over the question. She hesitated before answering, "The leaves are for breathing shortages... right?"

"That's right," said Breezeheart, although she wouldn't have said it that way.

{{OOC/- What do you mean by that? She wouldn't have said it that way?}}
Hazelpaw smiled, and continued hunting for some coltsfoot. She could sense the smell tingling in her nostrils, but since she had not much practice, she could not directly make out exactly where it came from. Finally, she bumped into a flower. Jumping up, the apprentice's eyes beamed as she noticed what she had knocked into. Coltsfoot!

{{OOC/- Ah, okay. ^^}}
Hazelpaw turned her head to face Breezeheart. "Should I pick the whole plant, so we can identify it when we need to use the leaves, or just pluck a few of the leaves?" she asked. This was her first time harvesting coltsfoot, and she wasn't sure what to do.

"Why don't you dig it up and get a good look at it. Try to burn it into your memory," said Breezeheart.

{{OOC/- LOL Bunny you're just like 'Uh, oookay...'. Too bad, Hazelpaw's mine! -huggles Hazelpaw-}}
Hazelpaw nodded in reply, and crouched down, as if ready to pounce. She sniffed the plant all over, becoming familiar with its scent, and began to tug at it. A few heartbeats later, it was out of the ground. Patches of pebbly, dry dirt clung onto its small, wringly roots, and the green leaves tickled her nose with contempt.
