These are the rules for creating your character. Pretty easy to follow and simple.
1. Use somewhat canon names please. This means nothing that our dear Warriors wouldn't know about. (Ex; Dragon, Diamond, Sthingy, Emo, & Sphinx)
2. No unusual colors for eyes, nor for pelts & no unbelievable markings. Yes, a random stripe or spot is fine. Still I don't want a cat to have wing shaped markings on their back.
3. No powers for the kitties...
4. The suggested number of cats would be 10, if you think you can control more than this do so. If any Admins or Moderators notice that you're falling behind with them however, you will be notified.
5. Please try & keep gender ratios even.
6. We don't need too many Queens with Kits running around, try & keep it down to fiveish per Clan...Unless this site becomes under populated & I have to fix that.
7. Remember your cats are not allowed to be perfect.
8. Your Clan Cat may only become a rouge/loner/kittypet if you have gained permission with the Admin (me). Same goes for your rouge/loner/kitty pet becoming a Clan Cat. Remember: You must gain permission! We do not want to over populate the Clans.
9. Only the Clan leader can appoint new Apprentices, Warriors, & Deputies. If a Leader seems to be abusing this power, please tell an Admin or Moderator & it'll be dealt with. Leaders also are the only cats who can change the name of any other cat.
10. Seeing as a lot of us don't have the patience to wait as long as the books describe when it comes to the aging of our kitties, we're speeding things up a bit. The below is in real time of course.
* Kits;; Will remain a kit for about three weeks.
* Apprentices;; Will remain an Apprentice for four to five weeks, depending on both mentor & leader approval.
* Warriors;; Will remain a Warrior for two to three months.
* Elders;; Will remain living for two to three months, maybe longer if you ask.
* Leaders;; Please understand that leaders are not all powerful. Eventually they are going to lose a life. If you fail to knock off a life or two from time to time, you will be notified.
* Deputies;; Remember, you can retire as a Deputy!
* Medicine Cats;; You get a little longer than the Warriors, because you can retire but you usually don't. Three to four months on these ones.
* Medicine Cat Apprentice;; Training takes about a week longer because your job is a bit more...complicated than a Warriors. Five to six for your training.
Before announcing that your she-cat is pregnant, or goes to the Medicine Cat, please ask your admin if this is alright. That way we won't over-populate the clans.
EDIT: When creating a cat, please one per clan. Meaning, do not post a WaterClan cat with a SkyClan cat. It's just not going to work. That is why we now have those lovely, and convenient, sub-boards.
Most of these rules were borrowed from our good friend Breath of a Warrior with permission from their admin. Thanks you guys! =^_^=
